We are looking for a skilled Auto Mechanic to join our team – your main job will be to maintaining and repairing vehicles. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and fixing them aiming to maximum reliability and functionality. Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation required (public transportation is also available). Own tools required as well. Education: Completion of high school or apprenticeship program. Experience: Trade certification or a minimum of two years of work experience working as an automotive mechanic. Languages: Speak English, Read English Weight Handling: Up to 20 kg (40 lbs). Job Duties: Inspecting motor in operation, road test motor vehicle, and test automotive systems and components using computerized diagnostic and other testing devices to diagnose and isolate faults; diagnosing issues timely and accurately; inspecting vehicle computer and electronic systems; reviewing work orders and discuss work with supervisor; adjusting, repairing or replacing parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment; testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's performance specifications; performing scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrication and tune ups; scheduling future maintenance sessions; advising motorists on good vehicle use; offer our products and services; building relationships with clients; acting as an advisor and giving useful advice for car maintenance; billing services; maintaining equipment and tools in good condition.
