Work Setting: Outdoors and Indoors - Our business specializes in both commercial and residential overhead door sales, installation and repair. We are dedicated to offering the highest quality garage doors and service at affordable prices.

Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation required.

Skill Requirements:

Education: Completion of high school

Experience: One or more years supervising Overhead Door Systems ( Commercial and Residential) installers or 3 or more years of work experience installing Overhead Door Systems ( Commercial and Residential)

Languages: Speak English, Read English

Weight Handling: Up to 20 kg (40 lbs)

Job Duties: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of Overhead Door Systems ( Commercial and Residential) installers; Prepare and control daily and weekly work schedules;  Resolve different work problems and customer complaints;  Prepare and maintain work progress reports; Hire and train of new employees; Order necessary garage doors parts and supplies; Maintain records of stock for inventory control;  Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other subcontractors;  Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality; Requisition materials and supplies; Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies; Co-ordinate and schedule the activities of helpers and labourers.

Additional Skills: Must be able to inspect job sites for door clearance, study blueprints and schematics diagrams and adjust doors if they malfunction. Must be able to use a fasteners, hang back hangers to ceilings and install tracks, set doors in place, install springs, ensure proper functioning and calibrate and set electric garage door openers. Ability to use a welder and shaping machines to fabricate doors for custom openings as well as custom parts to replace broken or worn one is an asset.
